It was intentionally designed with a smaller wing, a shorter body and no internal baffles. This combination maximizes both sound and air flow. The Extreme muffler is a perfect fit for vehicles that need to get to the next level of sound and performance.
The Pro Series muffler is a two-baffle, flow-wing design that creates maximum flow while maintaining the back pressure vital to an engine's performance. The flow-wing works much like an airplane wing, creating a high-pressure/ low-pressure system inside the muffler. It is designed to pull the air around the flow-wing while reducing resonance. The body of the muffler is made of 16 gauge aluminized steel, while the end caps are made of 14 gauge aluminized steel to ensure lasting quality. The Pro series is also offered in 409 stainless steel.
The Elite Series is a four-baffle muffler with the flow-wing design that gives all the performance needed but reduces the amount of sound. It is designed for the person wanting the performance of a high-flow muffler but not all of the sound. Others will still recognize you have a performance muffler, but the sound will be less aggressive. The Elite Series has a custom double-collared neck for ensured lasting quality.
The Vortex Series has a patented flow divider design with high temp fiberglass, 100% welded with aluminized steel with a black finish. With its standard body size and reversible design for maximum installation flexibility it is a great choice for any car, truck or SUV.
Cherry Bomb Performance Mufflers are designed to increase your vehicle's power, performance and fuel economy and are not a "one size fits all" reversible, universal, muffler. Cherry Bomb Performance Mufflers are made of high quality Aluminized or Stainless Steel, aluminized mufflers are 16 gauge and painted and the stainless steel mufflers are also 16 gauge. End cap seams and the body seam are mig welded by robots and the necks are flared for a smooth exhaust flow in and out of the muffler. Inside, extruded flow passages allow more efficient exhaust flow through the muffler and a unique flow wing provides internal pressure differential to assist the flow of the exhaust out of the muffler also, there are no internal filler materials to absorb moisture and break down.
